Marco Antonio Ortega

Marco Ortega, programmer on Crosser, tells me that people get confused by the lines on his CV detailing the exhibitions of the videogames. He is earning a PhD in archeology with a concentrating in ancient meso-america, so his participation in and art and design project can throw some people off balance.

› University of Calgary, dept. of Archeology

Marco received an undergraduate degree in history from the University of Texas at El Paso. He continued his studies there by earning a Master of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies. His thesis advanced thinking on the meanings of the architecture at Xochicalco, an ancient city near Veracruz. His studies required formation in Art History, Cultural Anthropology, and the visual and semiotic aspects of design.
