Seeds of Solitude & Fifa! Fo! Fum! at 4th International Symposium of Interactive Media Design in Turkey
R: Two playable fragments of the work in progress, Juan & the Beanstalk, Seeds of Solitude and Fifa! Fo! Fum!, have been selected for the exhibition associated with the 4th International Symposium of Interactive Media Design. The symposium and exhibition run from April 28th through the 30th of 2006. The symposium has been organized yearly by the Visual Communications Design program of Yeditepe University in Turkey. Crosser and La Migra were accepted for exhibition to the 2nd annual symposium in 2004. The exhibition has two components, Digital Art, and Art, each with a catalog:

Rafael speaks today at Texas Tech University in Lubbock
R: I was invited to speak about SWEAT and our projects and process by the doctoral students in the Critical Studies and Artistic Practice program in the School of Art at Texas Tech University. We created an ephemeral arcade in the halls of the school the morning after I spoke, so people could actually get their hands on the games. The Daily Toreador gave us a great write-up, unfortunately it's inaccessible online from off-campus without a paid subscription.
