Pat Down

I was patted down by the Toronto airport security agent before my flight back on Saturday. He searched all of my handbags and even patted down my webkin, Rin Rin. He had me open my computer and awaken it, but seemed – I don't know – disconcerted when he realized it was Mac. I joked around with the agent while he did it. I insisted that it be done in public. He offered that there would be no inappropriate touching. I am a demonstrative person. I don't yet see the propriety in strangers touching me all over, looking and feeling inside my waistband, touching the fronts and backs of my thighs and calves, my chest and back. I feel no more secure for having witnessed at very close quarters the thoroughness of the inspection.
